What is GivingTuesday?
🐾 GivingTuesday at Penn State is an annual celebration during which alumni, friends, fans, faculty, staff, and students come together to support the people and programs that shape our University. December 1, 2026 marks Penn State’s twelfth GivingTuesday celebration—a day for representing the We Are spirit and reminding our friends and neighbors that we are a community that invests in a better, brighter future together. Any gift, no matter the size, makes a difference!

How can I make a gift?
🤍 You can make your gift easily and securely right here on this page. Our site accepts all major credit cards. If you prefer to give by phone, please call 1-888-800-9163, Monday – Friday, between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. ET between now and GivingTuesday.

Can I make my gift early?
💙 Yes! Early gifts count toward GivingTuesday totals. Simply scroll to the top of this page and make your gift anytime leading up to the event by selecting the “Make Your Gift Early” button.

🐾 You may also send gifts via mail by 12/1/2026 to 329 Innovation Boulevard, Suite 210, State College, Pennsylvania 16803-6606, noting that your gift is in support of GivingTuesday, or call 1-888-800-9163, Monday – Friday, between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. ET.

 Where does my gift go?
🤍 You decide! You can direct your gift to any area that means the most to you—academic departments, scholarships, athletics, student life, or other University priorities. There’s something for every passion on GivingTuesday. Just select your designation when you make your gift online. Note that gifts made to funds on University giving sites outside of the GivingTuesday event page only count toward GivingTuesday totals when made on December 1. These pages include raise.psu.edu, pennstatehealth.org, thon.org, and others.

Is my gift tax-deductible?
🦁 Yes. Your gift is tax-deductible and you will receive an email confirmation and tax receipt shortly after you complete your gift.

Can my employer match my gift?
💙 Absolutely! Many employers offer matching gift programs that can double or even triple your impact. Check with your employer’s HR department or visit matching.psu.edu to see if your company participates.

What if I already gave earlier this year?
🐾 Thank you! Your support is deeply appreciated. You can still participate by making an additional gift on GivingTuesday, helping to unlock challenges, or spreading the word to others.
