For this year’s Cup, we are directing our fundraising efforts toward enhancing habitats at the Musser Gap Greenway. With your support, we can bring some grassland back to central Pennsylvania, and in turn support the threatened and declining species that rely on them.
On November 19th, 2023, two Dunlin showed up on the lake shores of Faylor Lake in Snyder Co. As one individual decided to continue on its journey, the lone Dunlin stayed around until March 2nd, 2024. This individual was given the name, Oscar, and was seen by many sightseers. Oscar reappeared the following October and enjoyed the lake shores of Faylor Lake once more until December.
Jon Kauffman and Jessica Sauder are honoring Oscar by means of imposing as him as we participate in the competition for the Micro Cup.
