College of IST Alumni Society Endowment

About

For twenty-five years, the College of Information Sciences and Technology (IST) has been committed to providing a robust education for our students. Transformational experiences—leading a student organization, traveling to professional conferences, competing in national challenges—enhance what our students learn in the classroom and position them for career success in the Information Age.

“It’s our duty to equip our students with not only the knowledge they gain in their courses but also the skills and perspectives they acquire from impactful co-curricular activities,” said Dean Andrea Tapia. “The opportunities that position our graduates to lead and thrive in an interconnected digital world are made possible thanks to the support and generosity of alumni and friends.”

This GivingTuesday, we’re asking you to make a gift to the IST Alumni Society Endowment to establish even more opportunities for our students’ academic journeys.

Your gift will directly support our diverse student organizations, undergraduate research efforts, education abroad offerings, and experiential learning by providing for:

  • Outreach, continuing education, and community programs and activities
  • Student travel to professional conferences and career development activities
  • Research-enhancing resources, including reference materials and equipment

By making a gift during GivingTuesday, you will help the IST Alumni Society support more students and meaningful experiences. And we thank you for it!
